Testimonials

  • Barb Ranck Barb Ranck, RDH, ODHA President

UHCAN Ohio saw the need to address the lack of access to dental care in Ohio many years ago and launched their Dental Access Now campaign. By bringing together all different organizations, including Ohio Dental Hygienists’ Association, we have worked long and hard to ensure that those who aren’t able to get dental care have that chance. Even when the odds seemed stacked against us, UHCAN Ohio stayed the course which resulted in the introduction of legislation that will truly address dental access by expanding the dental workforce. This will help so many Ohioans, especially in the Appalachian parts of Ohio. More kids will be able to go to school without toothaches, be able to maintain more of their teeth, have better self esteem and become better citizens in our communities. The Ohio Dental Hygienists’ Association is proud to work with UHCAN Ohio to help Ohioans get the dental care they need to lead healthier lives.
