Brian Cornwell is an Ohio Association of Free Clinics AmeriCorps VISTA Member who started working with UHCAN Ohio in September 2017. His role is to help build capacity and engage in community outreach. He is making valuable insights into rural communities and their health care policy needs. Brian’s passion to help others, is what drives him to improve the health of people in need.
Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Anthropology from the University of Akron. He got the opportunity to work on cultural anthropological research with immigrant and refugee populations in Akron and was a Physical Anthropology Lab Intern at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring what Central Ohio has to offer.
